If you are on a budget but like the look of Stand up Paddle boarding you cannot dismiss the Inflatable SUP board.
You can travel easily with the knowledge that at any one time when you see a body of water you fancy paddling across – within a few minutes of pumping up your board – you can be enjoying the tranquility of a lake or river maybe seldom paddled by anyone. Here lies the freedom an Inflatable board can give you. Packing away into a small backpack easily transportable on trains and planes and ready to be inflated in moments.
There are two types of Isups, those that are intended for general use such as surfing , flat water paddles and family use classed as Allround or those that are designed to make paddling greater distances easier – classed as Touring which can still be used for general paddling but are usually longer in length.
The boards length may vary depending on if its for a smaller person (usually around 9ft long) or for the average joe family guy/gal ( around 10ft long)
The wider the board the more stable it will be on the water 32 inches will suit most people , if you’re over 15 stone look for a wider model 33″+ inches in width.
