An inflatable surfboard ….it’ll never take off !
Who would have thought that standing up on a board and paddling would have heralded such an explosion in participation worldwide never mind doing it on an inflatable board !
Red Paddle co saw this in the early days of SUP and made a big leap of faith,and as things have gone over the last few years it was a jump which has paid off.
The 2015 Red paddle co board offering is a well though out range of boards for every type of stand up Paddleboarder – whether they’re into waves or touring or just mucking about with the family on the beach.
Their worldwide Patent on the RSS system would seem a logical decision and good for them for making it and wining the Patent. These stiffening spars are slid into sides (rail pockets) of certain models to help gain rigidity which gives a 37% increase in stiffness to the board.
Their other board models vary between produced with 100mm , 120mm or 150mm sidewall thickness for increased rigidity depending on the boards use.
The difference between a 100mm and 120mm thick board gives a 35% increase in stiffness.

9’8 RIDE
Designed to deliver a great surfing shape and a perfect all round board for the sub 70kgs rider. The 9’8” is 100mm thick for increased performance and manoeuvrability but is fitted with RSS to ensure rigidity is not compromised.
10’6 RIDE
The Red Paddle Co Ten Six is the single most popular inflatable SUP board in the world. Heralded as a classic in all four corners of the world. Designed to match the requirements of the all round rider, it will float and glide easily on flat water, while still riding smoothly and predictably in surf.
While some inflatable boards flex uncontrollably in the surf we know how to build just the right amount of curve into the plan shape to create a stiff board. The 10’6″ is 120mm/4.72″ thick. This increases stiffness while not affecting the ride and performance of this iconic board. The Ten Six holds firm and allows you to pick your line across even the smallest of waves.
10’8 RIDE
The 10’8” Ride is 120mm thick.This increases stiffness while not affecting the ride and performance of these iconic boards.The 120mm thickness means that the rider can obtain greater stiffness at lower pressure.The 120mm board is more than 40% stiffer than a standard 100mm board at the same pressure.

With the White Water side of SUP growing fast, we have produced a shape that not only offers extreme durability but also extreme performance on the river. Designed with input from White Water paddlers from around the world the Flow allows for easy control on down river runs.
Its high sides allow it to break in and out of the river flow while it’s pronounced nose rocker means it rides over the bumps exceptionally well.
Fitted with multiple grab handles it offers safety and control. The Quad fin set up means you don’t get the “double bump” when hitting rocks that is so often the problem with standard 3 fin set ups.The fins are also low profile to avoid hang ups in shallow sections.
