Winter is coming

Ok I dont want to admit it , but the air temp is getting colder and the nights are drawing in. My paddleboards haven’t seen a lot of use over the summer with the constant wind and rain.
We have had a few glory days of no wind flat water paddling but never much swell at the same time.

No fear winter is near… last year ‘The Boiler’ not saying which one was firing on all cylinders and because its quite a paddle for a prone surfer the crowds are kept away – A perfect SUP wave , this winter we hope to explore more of Gowers Offshore reefs and sand bars.

So if like us you fancy scoring empty waves, get back on your SUP and back in training. This winter promises to really test the Stand Up Paddlesurfing community – we look forward to hearing about your Wave sessions- we will be holding a SUP photo competition with Free SUP merchandise including leashes, impact vests, and even a new KIALOA paddle up for grabs.
