Professional rugby player Ed Carne has recently completed an 82 mile charity paddle by SUP down the River Wye along the Anglo-Welsh border. He started his journey at Glasbury-on-Wye and finished at Monmouth in two and a half days with a paddling time of 16 hours and 37 minutes. He has so far raised £1306 for the Cornish based charity ShelterBox which offers disaster relief by sending boxes containing tents, blankets and other essential survival items to disaster affected countries. For this journey Ed was using a Jimmy Lewis 12”6 board kindly donated by Matt from SUP Gower.
