On set filming with S4C cariad@iaith: love4language a Welsh language program which featured eight celebrities trying to learn the Welsh language I got the opportunity to try a coracle on the Teifi river in Cardiganshire.
Heaps of fun and anyone wanting go get in touch with Mark Dellar at Teifi Coracle makers.
they can offer you a taster session or a tranquil trip down the Teifi in traditionally made coracles.

The main reason we were on The Teifi river was to get the welsh celebrity learners from cariad@iaith Stand up paddle boarding!
And I’m happy to say we did ! Matt Johnson, Colin Charvis, Lembit Opik, Melanie Walters all gave it a fantastic go and succeeded.

SUP really is that easy ! Lembit had great paddle technique as did Matt Johnson but the best paddler prize went to Gavin and Stacey star (GWEN) Melanie Walters who found standing on the 10ft Coreban icon she was using a really great way to exercise her core.

Hi Matt,
Just a quick word to thank you and Abi for all your efforts while setting up our filming at Cilgerran for cariad@iaith:love4language – the series turned out to be a massive success. In fact, we’ve had more plaudits for this particular series than any I’ve ever been involved in.
Thank you for making the process so entirely pain-free! Can’t rate you highly enough.
Much appreciated, and Diolch yn Fawr,
Owen
