A simple review from Michael of scotland of a 8’11 vulcan and SUPGower customer
Hi Matt
Its been a while since we spoke but agreed to give you feedback on my 8’11 Vulcan board. Loving it; it is the closest to a shortboard experience I have had and, in my view, is more lively and than any of the C4s I tried in the Canaries. It pivots on a dime and I have not yet experienced a problem with the standard quad fins. If I spin out its because I’m having too much fun and pushing it. Don’t truly get much over 8ft on a good day in my neck of the woods often so the Vulcan is a perfect fit. Chop is a challenge but still fun – normally I know within 5 mins if its time to get the Greedy off the roof.

The biggest mistake I made early on was to keep the Vulcan 8’11 for glassy and/or big days. The front rocker just needs a tap with the foot and its off….even in tiddler waves.
Suspect you know all this but the Vulcan is now attracting interest from a few lads who won’t SUP till they are OAP’s – I’ll let them know where you are.
